The Enforcement Division of the Sheriff's Office consists of several subdivisions which are responsible for specific task within the department.  The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office is charged with patroling the 1,541 square miles that make up our county.  Our officers make a diligent effort to deter criminal activity.  They identify, apprehend and assist in the prosecution of persons suspected of commiting crimes.  They enforce traffic laws, conduct criminal investigations, recover lost or stolen property and assist our citizens and visitors in areas of concern to the law enforcement community.
